FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SPRINGWATER CONSERVATION AREA
NEW POPLAR HILL PLAYGROUND

Aylmer, ON, April 3, 2023 – The Catfish Creek Conservation Authority (CCCA) would like to formally thank Doug Tarry Homes for offering a generous financial contribution at the “Exceptional” Level ($5,000) toward the new Poplar Hill playground located in Springwater Conservation Area.

Doug Tarry Homes is committed to their customers in St. Thomas and the surrounding areas since 1954. Doug Tarry Homes has been a prominent name in the communities surrounding Springwater Conservation Area.

The CCCA runs the Springwater Conservation Area campground with the hope of creating an appreciation of nature within our visitors, providing local recreational opportunities, as well as to financially offset costs for our provincially mandated programs. Playgrounds are safe spaces where children develop crucial physical, social, emotional and imaginative skills necessary to gain self-confidence, improve coordination, and advance critical thinking capabilities. A new accessibility friendly swing set is due to be installed at the Poplar Hill playground during spring.

A donor guide is available on our website (www.catfishcreek.ca) or can be picked up at the CCCA Admin Centre, located at 8079 Springwater Rd., Aylmer, ON, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

To find out how you can donate to Springwater Conservation Area or the Poplar Hill Playground, please visit our website or contact Brittany Bell at [email protected]
