Past Fundraising Goal: Springwater Conservation Area Poplar Hill Playground
The Catfish Creek Conservation Authority (CCCA) is a non-profit organization that manages several Conservation Areas within it’s watershed. The Springwater Conservation Area has been a popular destination for campers and their guests for decades, and our Poplar Hill playground is showing it’s age. The CCCA is reaching out into the community for financial support to accomplish it’s goal of replacing this equipment in the very near future.
We know these have been challenging times, and we hope that visitors have found solace at the Springwater Conservation Area. Every donation by individuals, businesses, and organizations is very much appreciated and will be recognized appropriately. The investment made by our supporters demonstrates the importance of these partners in the fulfillment of our Mission and the advancement of the Conservation Authority.
Our fundraising goal for this project is $50,000.00.

Past Fundraising Goal: Springwater Conservation Area Visitor Centre
Out with the old and in with the new! The first ever Gatehouse at the Springwater Conservation Area was built in 1977 to replace a slim guard booth. The current Main Gatehouse / Store was built in 1986. Unfortunately that building has reached the end of it’s life. With close to 11,000 annual visitors the Springwater Conservation Area needs to move forward with a more user friendly Entrance and new and improved Visitor Centre.
The CCCA wishes to thank all of the donors that helped make the new building possible. It is now open!
